Cal baptist FNP

Just wondering if anybody has any experience with this program. I'm aware that you start off taking their core classes, and then you choose your msn concentration, which is interesting. They're a newer program, and unfortunately I haven't been able to talk to people in the program.

Anybody currently applying to this program or have any info on it?

I just registered to start January of 2014. When I was choosing my program theirs stood out for me. The main criteria for me was I didn't want to do online and I wanted a class schedule that was not overwhelming so I can continue to work. From the other programs I looked at this arrangement is the norm.

Nice. How do clinicals work in the FNP concentration. I was told they give u a preceptor, but I'm wondering how many hours a week it is. I know it's a newer program, and it's not yet listed on the BRN website as accredited which concerns me.

I am currently in the program now. Are you talking about the EL MSN program? If so, I can try and answer as many questions as I can.

Hoping you can share more info on the FNP program at Cal Baptist. I have an application in and have questions about the workload, instructors, and clinicals. Do they help find clinical sites for you or are you expected to arrange them? How do you feel about the structure of the program and curriculum? I am very interested in the once-a-week class format.
