Good day everyone,
im new here and this is my first post.
and im not sure either if i posted this in the right place. (sorry)
anyways, here is my situation.
im from the philippines, took and passed nclex under the state of california and received the notification letter on Feb 2010.
it says on the letter that if i can not provide a SSN, CABoN will destroy my data.
my confusion is when the expiry date will exactly be..
im thinking Feb 2013 but some people are saying it's Feb 2012 coz they'll start counting on 2010.. i got alarmed, times are really tough here (in phils) and i still have not endorsed it.
my money is still insufficient..
i know a lot of you are well versed of stuffs like these so im asking for a little help.
thank you

I would try to have California forward your NCLEX test results to another state that does not require a US Social Security Number as soon as possible. NY and TX have been mentioned in a few threads as states that do not require a US Social Security Number for a license to be issued. Check with the BON in these states first as things could change. Also, though TX and NY may not require a US Social Security Number, both states require credentials evaluation from CGFNS, something you probably haven't done yet since California does not require it. You will end up waiting for documents to go through and the clock could be ticking...also, be prepared for the additional cost of forwarding the test result, applying for a license, and CGFNS processing all of which can add up.
