I currently work for the LA COUNTY and planning to move to nevada and work for UMC a clark county hospital. Does anyone know how county to county benefits work? Do i continue my years of service or do i start from zero again?? Thank you.

UMC is in an entirely different state and county. I suspect you'll start off at zero years of service.

You're probably thinking of federal government jobs.  I believe the federal government jobs, since they come from one place (federal), are the ones where you keep your benefits and seniority the same.

If you work for a county, city, or state government then it only stays within that same area or jurisdiction.  You will start at zero when you go to NV
