How long do you wait? I heard people wait 3 days. Some wait longer. Tested in Cali

Shocked you haven't received anything yet. Did you search for your name on Breeze? I waited 2 days, as did many (most) of my classmates.

How long do you wait to get the results? Until it shows up, really. If you don't see a license when you search your name through BreEZe, and your application status (once you've logged in to your account, it will be on the lower left side of the page) still says pending/open, there's hope you passed.
How long do you wait before you start calling the BRN? Based on my friends' experience, the BRN won't give you the time of the day until you've waited at least about 3 weeks for your results, give or take a few weeks, based on your charisma and luck. The BRN processing times page does state that results can take 2-4 weeks to post, and they will not hesitate to point that out to you.
Why did some people get their results much quicker? It could be because during initial processing, they were selected to be auto-processed instead of manually processed, which is a thing that happens and no one knows how it works.
It could also be because they took the exam when there weren't a lot of other people taking the exam, at least compared to when you took yours.
Did you take all your classes (including pre-reqs) from one school, or do you have transfer units? The two people I know whose results took a month or so to post on BreEZe had units transferred from other schools. As I've said, the BRN won't give you the time of day re: results if you haven't been waiting for at least about 3 weeks. They were told to keep waiting.
It turned out, they each had to send their transcripts again (one even had to send it thrice) because their transcripts seemed to keep getting lost in the BRN mailroom.
There was this one time someone on the phone told my friend he'd call back in 3-5 days to follow up. The call never came so my friend called, and another person said, "Oh, he meant 3-5 weeks. Oh, and that thing he said about sending it to front desk or something...yeah, the mail just goes straight to the sorting room so that won't help."
The CA BRN in a nutshell.
One of them was kind enough to hint that he passed though, so that's nice.
Hello Kurin and Jinki,
I took my NCLEX Fri Feb 12. The following day, my application still says the same which is pending. Sunday, it went missing. Monday was a holiday so BRN was closed. I read on a different forum post that if the application was deleted or missing, it means that you failed. I find it odd that it will go missing on a Sunday, even a holiday. I know that CA BRN does not work on the weekends and holidays per state policies. Nobody can give me clear answers as to why it went missing. The few posts that I read drove me nuts. I think I failed because other posts states that if it was deleted, you failed.
I know there was an issue with my transcripts before. This is why my ATT took forever. I was informed that everything was received so I am hoping that there is no delay.
I know a few that took the NCLEX 2 weeks before I did and they found out within a week that they passed. I have been checking BreEze but nothing. According to CA BRN, they are still processing results from Jan 25- Feb 5.
I still have hopes that I passed. (sigh)
Thank you!

That assertion (if application is deleted, and no license on BreEZe shows up, it means a person has failed) does make sense to me (if they're just waiting for something-- anything-- to issue a license, they would've kept the application open; closing an application and not issuing a license seems to indicate that they didn't/don't intend to issue a license), but we're just people from the internet, and no one knows for sure other than the CA BRN.
By any chance, have you tried the Pearson Vue Trick (PVT)? From the way it looks, (again, internet person conjecturing) the BRN has decided on something, and if Pearson refuses your money to re-register, then it might mean that the BRN has decided you've passed and don't need to take the exam anymore.

I took the exam two business days ago, and I am still very anxious for my results! I suggest you try to PVT as mentioned above. Everyone I know personally have had accurate and predictive pass/fail results from it.
To answer your original question, one of my friends waited 48H for her results and another, 4 weeks. It's just dreadful. We should be able to know quickly if we should hit the books again.
Hey, xrnx, this is not the most reassuring news, but literally a couple minutes ago, my application status disappeared on my BreEZe account (took it 2/22), and the upper right screen populated with my license info. It does seem that if you've taken the NCLEX, and the application status disappears, the BRN has made a pass/fail decision. Given, I'm a sample of one so this is in no way conclusive.

Hi Jinki! This is great news for you! Congratulations on passing the NCLEX! I don't have any RN license info.
I am assuming if your application goes missing/deleted does not mean you failed. I was wondering because mine disappeared on a Sunday. Nobody works on a Sunday for my application to be deleted. Furthermore, the Monday was a holiday!
I will wait. I am still hoping.
By the way, I did the Pearson Vue as soon as I got home, I ended up paying!

Hello! I hope that we both passed! I am very anxious. It has been 12 days! I know people that took NCLEX a week before me and they found out immediately! Update me on your status!
Sounds like you failed if it went missing and you have no license information. You will need to get a new ATT and study your weaknesses.

I hope he passed. This brn ca prolonging the agony of the test takers. Still waiting for his result... By the way i am an RN too took the exam last 2006 and passed at 75
