Hello all- I would appreciate any feedback on the following;
I graduated from a Nursing School in a foreign country, through I am a US citizen.
I have heard that the State of CA board of Nursing has started to ask for photocopies of all pages of the applicant's passport before an ATT can be issued.
Please share if anyone has gone through a similar experience.
Thanks

Yes, this is verify that one did take the courses overseas as the CA BON has been experiencing many foreign applicants submitting false documents. Showing passport entries helps to see one didn't purchase overseas documents while staying in the States and never having really attended any courses.
However I would highly suggest that you read the many topics in the World Nurse section and under the Nurse Registration, that CA has been denying many foreign applicants especially those from the PH since Nov. 2011. You'll find all your questions and answers in those forums.
Thanks so much steppybay- I truly appreciate it!
This clarifies it a whole lot!

i've been asked to pass it too. i sent my evaluator the copy of my passport (cover to cover).
Thanks Halen21- So even the evaluating companies are asking for it? Do you mind sharing the name of the company?
Thanks!
