I(hopefully) graduate next month of the 22. I am experiencing major burn out this semester. Is that normal? I feel so overwhelmed and terrified of being out there on my own. That and the total lack of jobs here in Cali and next to no new grad programs. How do I stay motivated? I have been attending a notoriously stressful program here in the Bay Area and well any advice of words of wisdom would be great. thanks.

I graduate next month on the 21st, so congrats to us!
For me, I'm staying motivated by the little things, like senior portraits, lunch with my friends, and working with my awesome leadership preceptor. I'm also motivated by my tech job because there's no way I would want to stay in it forever. I too am dealing with a rough new grad market and although I've been on 3 interviews, I still don't have a job yet and am crossing my fingers. I'm also setting aside fun trips for me to do this summer after graduation and am taking off a week of work after graduation just to re-charge my batteries, sit around, bake in the sun, and catch up on trashy novels. I'm also taking care of myself, accepting limits, and telling myself that I can't do everything at the last minute. Having outlines prepared to write papers all at once is helpful and knowing what you need to do (minimum requirements) also helps. The best motivator? Checking my online "days until graduation" counter! Good luck!
