We have been using this melaleuca based dressing for the firstaid treatment of burns of any cause and getting good effect both in healing and pain relief.

Does anyone have any experience with this dressing? What are you using to hold the dressing in place? Some use occlusive coverings others not. How long are you leaving it on for? I've seen anywhere from six hours and up.

A lot of questions I know, but any response appreciated.

Cheers, Daniel

I have not had expereince with the dressing you are talking about but have had good expereince with hyperfix/fixomull on 1st degree burns. Personal experience when on hot day ironing in the ER... anyway ended up with iron burn on stomach (don't ask) and applied hyperfix with ice. Pain gone in short time - left hyperfix until it peeled off naturally (you can remove it with either eucalyptus oil or tea-tree oil) and lo and behold all better!!! :D
