bsn graduate from philippines and now here in alabama

hi..i am from philippines and now here in the states(ALABAMA) holder of fiance visa(K1)..what do i need to do first cos i am thinking of pursuing my career here while my papers are on process for my adjustment of status (AOS)..i am a graduate as bsn but didn't take any exams..right now im planning to take training for CNA, do you think this could be the easiest move for me to get job first? am i able to take nclex in the future would that be possible?..Anyone who could help me on what i need to do first? i also know that i am not able to get work if i dont have the authorization of employment from the USCIS and an SSN before i could apply for job which i am going to work for it now after our marriage..anyone out there who could give me her/his views about my concern? thank you!!

I would suggest you start by reading the sticky called Primer to working in the USA. Also check out the state board of nursing and what their requirements are for foreign trained nurses. Average processing times for license application is 4-8 months depending on how they received your documentation. As you mention you can not work until you have EAD, CNA may require a exam but each state does differ on this
