Hi, I was wondering if there are any programs to go directly from a BSN to a masters program for nurse practitioners without having to work for one year first?
Thanks for your help :)

I tried to look, but I can't find anything for you:(
I think most schools require 1 year of RN experience prior to applying to a NP program. Not sure though. A college may require a minimum of a year, but a hospital or other work place may require more experience to get a job. Remember, schools want your dinero and hospitals want your experience/competence.
NP have a lot of responsibilities. Getting experience as a RN will better prepare you for the NP program and for the career. This is just my opinion.
Maybe this will help a little

Many programs require RN experience before you start clinicals. You could be working on non-clinical classes that are needed (ie. Research, patho) while getting your 1 year experience though
Aww thanks Christine that was nice of you to do a search. :) Ya I couldn't find anything either.
