I took NLN for the first time and did not do too good. I only got 70 and my verbal was below 30. I am not going to get admission in any community colleges. I am wondering what to do now. Or should I join private college BSN program with a high tuition or should I try NLN again and try for Spring 2011? I am so confused. I have almost admission ready at Chamberlain. but I am worried about the fees.

if you are rich or ok with debt, go with private, if not look into state schools
retake it, study and be confident going in!
good luck!
thank you. so you mean go to private school rather than going into community college?
lol
Are you wealthy? GO to a private school
Are you ok with huge debt? Go to a private school
IF you say no, to the above quesions, retake the exam and apply to CC's

If you have the money, do it... If not, check the interest rate on the loans and if its a variable rate... If its a high variable interest rate, get ready to payback loans for a while!
Well, I am unemployed now, but my husband is willing to support me with tuition. but i feel bad. so i don't know what to do...
thanks for your response

My boyfriend and I got engaged a few months ago and I am actually quitting my job soon to get ready for nursing school in the fall. This will reduce our income dramatically.
I opted to go to a cc because I couldn't imagine being over 40k into debt before I even started working full time again. Also, he will be paying all our bills aside from my car loan so it makes me feel a little guilty to put him into that situation.
If you are ok with taking on the debt then you should go to the private school. Truthfully it is your life and only you would know what would be best for you. So you should do what feels right :)
Good luck!
i too will be supported by my fiancee.
yes it kinda sucks for them to pay for everything but i know he loves me and supports me 100% (as he is older and already has his degree and in his field)
