hi geet11,
i have a relative going to brown mackie and she had to seek all kinds of scholarships, grants and loans to try to pay for her schooling there. she is still there but things are getting rougher and rougher for her. you have to ace all of your classes to make it to clinicals. to me and maybe others, 1 clase a month will not teach you psychology or pharmacology or for that matter how to be a safe nurse. when i went for those classes at longview and penn valley, they were semester long, can't possible learn those classes in 1 day but i guess it works for some people who are in it for the money!! i went to penn valley for my lpn nursing training and i learned alot and it was not all just packed in, with 1 class a month. i know penn valley do have a waiting list but it is well worth it though. all the metropolitan colleges are reputable colleges to attend for any training. when i decide to go back for my rn, penn valley is where i will go. good luck with your decision geet11.

omgsh! thank you sosoos much! how long is the waiting list?
so for my pre-req if i go to longview itll be good? like worth it? again muchos gracias!
I think it is like 2 years, it could be shorter, you will have to call Penn Valley and see. But doing the wait, you can get all your pre-reqs out of the way. It's worth it. You don't want no one to look at your resume and wonder what BMC is!! Good luck!!
i contacted penn valley -email- and well according to penn valley : "there is not a waiting list for the program. once you have completed your prerequisite courses you are eligible to apply. they use a ranking point system which is details at the website you were given in the last email. when you apply, you either accepted or you are not. if you are not, you can apply again during the next application period. "
That is wonderful news!!
Good Luck with everything!!
