Hi everyone I didn't see one made yet so I guess this will be the official thread for BC May 2015!
for anyone starting in august wondering about books, definitely get the care plan book ( cox clinical applications of nursing diagnosis ) it will make your life SO much easier when it comes to making care plans. every things pretty much laid out for you, just have to "copy and paste". i found it for like $8 on amazon, but that might've just been a one time deal.
For grades, for most classes you will have 3 exams, 100 points each. You need a 219/300 to pass. So if you divide that together you need an average of 73 for each exam. That doesn't mean if you fail one that you're done though.. You just need to make up the points on the next two exams.
Thank you so much for replying, Is this your last semester?
If she is still letting you record, listen to her lectures!!! Know your fluid and electrolytes inside and out...you'll need to know them forever! Do a lot of practice questions to familiarize yourself with the format. Good luck!
Hi, I've been trying find student's who has graduated or is about to graduate Broward College's nursing program. I am in need of some serious advice. Initially I planned on attending the RN program at Broward College but now I am thinking of just getting my LPN at ATC and then going back for my RN later. I think one of the main things that is fueling this is my fear of Broward College nursing program. I think all the negative comments about the program is stressing me out. I have yet to meet a graduate who didn't have to back track. I really don't want to be toyed with and plus, if I fail two classes I will probably end up having to get my LPN license anyways. I know nothing in life comes easy but is Broward College's program more unfair than all the others? FAU student's don't come on here and complain neither do Miami Dade's student's. I've also noticed all the student's who started in may never am back on the thread. I really don't know what to do.
