Broward College Nursing January 2016

Hey everyone, I'm applying to the nursing program for January 2016 at Broward College. I guess this will be the official thread for the January 2016, Broward college nursing students; since no one has made one yet. Who else is applying for this term and what courses do you have remaining to finish pre reqs? I'm currently enrolled in A&P 2 lecture and lab and also a math class which are the last two courses I need to apply. I finish the classes in August yayyy :)

hey guys!! I'm also applying for January :D I'm done with all my prereqs & the only thing I have left to do is the HESI. I have been studying the practice book and I plan to take it early August and turn in my application. Im also taking micro & micro lab during fall since I won't be doing anything else. Soo excited to meet you all!!

Hi and welcome t the group, the hesi isn't that bad and since you been using the practice book you should be fine.

What campus is everyone deciding on ?

I plan on going to either south or central campus

I'm applying for Central. It was either going to be Central or North but Central is closer to me and Im used to that campus anyways.

Hi :) I'm taking my hesi in August also. I have heard from many people that it isn't hard.

I plan on going to Central. I live down the street so another campus isnt really an option lol. Central is the campus that fills up the fastest from what Iv heard.

Central for me too! The HESI was not hard just study the book for all sections except anatomy. Study from online questions and quizlet. I got a 96 overall by doing this- Good luck!

I heard the same thing about central! But I plan on getting in there, lets hope for the best!

Also, what book did any of you who took the HESI already use? I plan on taking the HESI in August as well. :up:

From other threads for January, Iv seen people start to get accepted in October. How did you do on the HESI?

I got an 85% overall. I didn't study at all thought but I have a bachelors degree in biology and math so I thought I could wing it. What are the average scores getting in? I have a 3.4 GPA
