Broward college Nursing Jan 2015

Published

Hello, this is a thread for any current nursing students at Broward college or those who have recently been accepted. I'm a bit confused on Broward's admission criteria. What classes exactly do they use to calculate the gpa?

ok thanks. I thought it was strange. What status do you have?

have you turned in all the documents?

No i have not turned in anything they asked for since the orientation. I went for drug and bacground checks and i started taking my ceu's that's it.

Have you gotten any emails after orientation? Sorry for the questions

Yes ***** E-mailled the paperworks and instruction we neeeded for the background checks, and i received an email from each programs with the codes to register to the campus of our choice and the letter that has the date for our next orrientation at the campus of our choice. I received them all on the same day after those i have not received anything else.

Dean said I was good to go, and the executive assistant as well. They found it really strange. I did as well. I hope it's nothing bad, I mean, I'm already registered for the courses.

I had orientation this morning and luckily got signed up by the advisor for North Campus. YAY! Also, I have completed my CEU's and doing everything else tomorrow. My status was changed to Accepted.

Gustavo I think you should go to B.C and see someone to make sure that everything is good for peace of mind, becuase you do not want to wait las minute to take care of this. Although you were told that everything was fine, i would advise that you try to speak to someone face to face to take care of it. Just an advice.

Neeza0930 did u do your CEU's on campus or ceufast.com?

I did mines online from BC. You sign up for the class and after you pay it pops up in D2L. You just have to read through and take a post test which you need a 70% on to pass. After you pass the post test your certificate is under contents then you print it. I paid $72 for all 5 and I have the CPR with the Fire Department on Tuesday. Just getting everything turned in because there is so much paperwork to be completed and they're very specific about everything.

Perfect thx for the info! Good luck!
