Broward College May 2017

Anyone Applying to the May 2017 program? I wanted to get into the January program but I was missing a math class and couldn't complete it in time for the January program.

I have a question, is there a paper application for the Nursing program, or is it all online through BC?

I am trying to apply for August 2017, but can't find it on the site. Thanks and good luck to everyone!

its a paper application. I think you can print it online and take it to the school, but I don't have the link.

. I really just need to find out already. BC has really gotten competitive these last few terms. I heard they only accept 150 generic students for May.

TIME FOR TODAYS DAILY FREAKOUT!!!

So I was doing the math, and if for May we are competing with the LPN's, that means that most likely the cutoff of last cycle which was 7 points will most likely go up. For Jan 554 students applied and 265 students invited to join who all had 7 points and up. Those 7 points may not cut it for this term, I wonder if it will be 9-10 points.í ½í¸³í ½í¸³í ½í¸³í ½í¸³

We aren't competing with the LPn students. The program accepts so many Lpn students and so many generic students for MAy. You can't compare The terms because there all different. How many ppl applied for January and got accepted wouldnt be beneficial to look at. Supposedly not as many apply in May term because it's fast pace, but that could change. August and January have more spots for generic students.

Ok, so that exactly what I'm saying, less seats = more competition. Ita still in back of my mind and I will have 16 pts, reminds me of last term when I only had 6. Crazy.

Well no one knows what's what for this term. Of course the more points you have the better your chances are of getting in. I went from 6 to 11 points. Last year may I think on the forum someone got accepted with a 2.9 gpa. I want to have hope for everyone because despite how many applications they have we don't know the gpa range of who is applying. This is what I hate about waiting because our minds start to go all over the place mine included.

I emailed Nichole about this, but wanted to see if this happened to anyone else. Earlier today my points were updated to 11. I login not to long ago im back at 6? I find that a bit strange. Hope there isn't any issues with my classes.

Oh no! Really? I hope not either.

well i'm some one with 6 points and that is not something i want to hear especially since i'm already freaking out

yea I'm kinda worried myself. I was very confident that this was my term, but now I don't know. Points were updated now they are gone. basically 8 more days till the app deadline. Oh and we only have about 2 1/2 weeks before Spring break once the application period closes for them to process our applications. It would really ease my mind if we could find out before spring break I couldn't bear waiting. We all just have to stay positive and keep encouraging one another. We have came a long way and spent a lot of money lol. Maybe Nichole will start to comment after the 15th; she always eases my mind. Based on the History of BC they USUALLY have less applicants apply this term which hopefully means good things for all of us. WE got this.
