Anyone Applying to the May 2017 program? I wanted to get into the January program but I was missing a math class and couldn't complete it in time for the January program.
Yes. May first semester is accelerated because it's short a few weeks as opposed to January and August.its the same if you went to school in the summer with your regular college classes. Gpa is based off of both A&p classes with the lab and English 1. You have to have college math as well but it isn't calculated into the gpa. After our first semester we will have the normal 16 weeks. The nursing program it's self will still be 18 months no matter if you start January, May, or August. Hope this helps

Thank you so much! The Gpa I mentioned is based off of theBCC required classes and divided by 11. We can def tough it out for 1 semester . Taking the HESI on the 9th í ½í¹ˆ Any tips or recommendations on what BCC has leaned towards with testing.

Yes we should be able to tough it out with hard work and determination. I've started reading the Fundamentals book and taking notes. For the hesi to me it wasn't hard. I used the Evolve book and you tube. Math focus on ratios and proportions. Take a deep breath. Relax. The test isn't that bad. Just super long.

Thank you. Do you remember if they tested you on conversions like (Kilo, Hecto, Deca, Base, Deci, Centi, Milli, Micro)

Im praying that they don't extend the deadline. The week after the application deadline closes they have that Monday the 20th off for Presidents Day. Last May found out March 4th. I read in last may thread that they try to get our acceptance letters out first because we have more to do than the lpn students. Not saying they won't try to get to everyone, but i think we are priority.
