Broward College August 2012

Hi! This is a thread for anyone applying for August 2012 class at Broward College for the generic nursing track. I deferred my seat so I will be starting in August. I haven't decided if I want to go to central or south yet.. I'm super excited about starting in August! If I could help anyone with anything feel free to ask! :)

Yeah all the labels are up saying the first floor is the nursing dept. Some of the classrooms are set up like health care set ups like the labs we dis Hcp0001 at central.

Oh ok. Well let's cross our finger ;)

No I have no clue. I imagine we will get it at Nursing Orientation on 8/8... I want to get a head start with the books... At least try to read the first couple of chapters. I heard you go right in on the first day. :uhoh21:

Oh yea I bought the fundamentals book already. I'm going to start reading after I finish my sociology class on 8/2. I don't want to be unprepared ?

I'm going to do the same as soon as we are able to buy books with Fin.Aid.

North Campus hasn't sent an email yet. Smh

When is orientation for south campus? It only states that when need documents in by 8/8

Only mention of orientation I saw for South was "Welcome! I will meet with you fora brief orientation on Tuesday 8/28/12 as part of your first mandatory campus lab day...." so I guess thats it, or they will send another email.

I know I saw that central campus have a orientation on 7/25 so we must have one for south hopefully they will send another email.

Is it just me or did Central campus not give the reference numbers for ALL the classes that students need to register for? I only see the reference numbers for Nursing Process Theory & Lab II (NUR1210 & NUR1210L). Maybe it's just not opening up correctly on my comp??? :confused: I only see 2 attachments for Central and South has 4 attachments in the email. I'm hoping to attend North but Central is my 2nd choice so I want to be fully prepared when Monday comes around.

Ok I feel a little better now knowing that I'm not the only one...lol. I guess if a revised email isn't sent out by tomorrow afternoon I'll give them a call to clarify.
