Hi! This is a thread for anyone applying for August 2012 class at Broward College for the generic nursing track. I deferred my seat so I will be starting in August. I haven't decided if I want to go to central or south yet.. I'm super excited about starting in August! If I could help anyone with anything feel free to ask! :)

I was checking on there too but I could only find one professor. Which campus are you going to??

I'm going to south. I found 2 on there: Jackson (HSC1149) and Hernandez (MTB1370). They both have pretty good ratings.

I'm not sure if the Hernandez for MTB1370 is the same Hernandez for NUR1020/1210 though.

Cool beans! Im so excited/nervous LOL I am like a roller coaster of emotions. I know that I will be online Monday Morning ready to register cuz I dont want to go to central and North is waaaaaaaaaaaay too far for me to travel.

OMG RIGHT?!?!?!? I was like JESUS lol I guess they want us to get used to those 12 hr shifts now since we will be working them sooner than we think LOL

I really want South but I'm kinda bummed to see we have classes in bldg 69 and the modules when I thought the old LRC building was going to be ready, I saw the new classrooms with sinks and beds in there in April and was so excited.

Yeah all the labels are up saying the first floor is the nursing dept. Some of the classrooms are set up like health care set ups like the labs we dis Hcp0001 at central.

No I have no clue. I imagine we will get it at Nursing Orientation on 8/8... I want to get a head start with the books... At least try to read the first couple of chapters. I heard you go right in on the first day. :uhoh21:
