Broward College August 2010

Published

Hello!!! Just wondering if anyone else has applied for August 2010 yet? :)

i went to the one last semester they give you a folder with all you need. You can bring whoever you want. The important thing in orientation is signing the acceptance form for your seat. You can literally get a packet sign the form and leave. The financial aid lady comes for about an hour and runs trough filling out a fafsa. which sucks.. this semester im doing just that signing and going

Ahhh ok thank you!

I just graduated from FSU so my whole orientation experience was different bc you had to sit through 2 days of info or they wouldn't activate you to register for classes... & I just finished my bright futures so my mom has a million questions re: if prepaid will be allowed for nursing school & she can never get anyone on the phone or gets a dozen of different responses, I was like "Welcome to my world..." plus, I figure it'll give her a better glimpse of what my life is going to be like for the next 18 months

yep, all admitted applicants check your broward email! Also there is a option to forward your messages to your mail email accounts. I just did that 3 days ago.

We are all excited and I will see you guys all there!

are you able to register for classes at orientation? Or when does that happen?

Specializes in Med/Surg. Psych..

Congratulations to All who received their acceptance letter....I know you all are Very excited as is expected.:)

I just want to share some encouragement with all of you....Throw out worry, it gets old and in the way of you doing things the way you should, also throw out the book on your past, (you won't have time to read it anyway) Replace it with new goals (start reading it today!) Philosophy too, throw out the one from long ago.Bring in some new books too, called I CAN, I WILL, I MUST and throw out I might, I think, I ought. You're embarking on an exciting yet challenging experience. Enjoy it! and lastly always remember The best way to predict your future is to create it! Good luck..:redbeathe

no they give you specific dates to register ..its a time line for example last semester it was a window of like 7 days
