Do we take these courses before the orientation or after?
i think they want it before you start the program, it would be in your best interest to do them if you have the time because it seems that BCC will be holding off on orientation imo ... i dont know
i have them already because i did hcp @ sheridan tech.
I spoke to someone in admissions today at Central. She said that she thinks email will go out this week and that they are going to try to do orientation before the end of the month. But it seemed like it wasn't for sure yet. Hopefully it will be soon because my financial aid is stalled until my major gets changed back to nursing.

So they must be notifying the majority of people before the July 2 "deadline"

I'm in the same boat as you regarding financial aid. I also hope that they have the orientation soon so we are able to register and sort it out.
so what you said ALB makes sense to me, that the status will change after orientation because you have to first accept the seat in order for them to consider you as being "accepted", which must be the reason why it only says preadmission. i just had to hear it for myself, so i went into the office after my class a while ago and the girl confirmed with me that i have been accepted!!!!
the crazy thing about it is that i only applied with 7 pts, so i truly got lucky. this should be good news for those of you who havent heard anything yet and have over 7 pts, that probably means that you are in as well. But what probably made the difference is that i applied before May 15th (March 16 to be exact) and i passed my hesi with pretty good scores. Well who knows, im not really concerned with how i got in, just glad that i did. Im so excited and cant wait!!!

Thanks!! I definitely have over a 12... I don't know what I got in ENC way back when I took it close to ten years ago... but I'm good on my sciences, did very well on the HESI and am a Broward resident. Hopefully it's enough, given my late application!
