Has anyone taken the EXIT Hesi for the 2nd time (because they didnt score high enough the 1st time)? Just wondering if the questions are the same or a whole different set... any advice welcomed.

I haven't taken it twice, but I know someone else who did and the questions were different. I think even two people sitting next to each other have different questions. I didn't feel that the instructor prepared us for the HESI at ALL, and because of that, some people didn't pass. There is no reason for that. The instructor should have taught the students HOW to pass the HESI using the knowledge they have gained in the semester. Nursing exams aren't like other exams, they require critical thinking in a different way than we are used to. I would recommend getting an nclex-rn book with practice questions or using the nclex-3500 website to practice before the next one so you can get used to the format of the questions. Keep practicing and you will get better at taking these exams. Here is the link to the website:

Best luck!
Thanks for the reply. I retook it and passed with a way better score. I thought the 2nd test was harder, but I did better. And yes, totally different questions.
