good day to all:yes:,
took my nclex-rn exam last monday(april 20,2015) and fortunately i passed it for 75 questions. After 2 days of taking the exam i already knew that i passed.I didn't use the PVT but i checked my name on the California board of nursing website-->DCA breeze online services-->verify a license. If you passed the board exam, you will see your name in there with your license number.
Goodluck future nurses. you can do it. Just do your very best.Actually this is my 3rd retake.Took my first 2(failed) nclex exams in the philippines. So,don't loose hope.Take practice exams as much as you can(for me,i did 200-300 q's a day) for 3 months, everyday, except sundays.Dont ever study at home. Go to your nearest public library.Take a break every after practice exams(youtube break for me:laugh:).
Reference i used:
BOOK:Saunders comprehensive 5th edition book(yellow)
CD:saunders (this is a good cd to practice yourself on the content area) & lippincott cd for practice questions
then i bought the kaplan q bank 2- 3weeks before my exam(99$ worth)--(mimic the true nclex,highly recommended)
**my Q bank overall average=63%
if you are also planning to buy books, try half.com. (most of the books there are used, but in good condition:)
GOODLUCK everyone...
