Hello, I am about to have my CNA cert and start working in a hospital. I can't decide between black or white shoes. Any suggestions or advice on why one is better than the other? Thanks

Black. Doesn't show dirt as much. But also depends on color you have to wear. Do you have a required color or a color you like to wear alot?
My teacher said the hospitals do not have a required color. I wanted to get either black or white because I think it would look the most professional. I agree that black doesn't show dirt as much, and I think black looks better most of the time. However, a lot of the students in my class wear white. My friend said white shoes are better because you can see things better, so you know when you have bodily fluids on them and can wash them.... So I like black I guess I'm just concerned with what my friend said, that I won't be able to see bodily fluids on them or know when to clean them. Any advice?

That's an easy one! We are allowed to wear white or royal blue where I work so if I am wearing all royal then I wear my black shoes. (I haves tons of shoes). If I am wearing at least one white piece then I wear the white shoes! (= Good luck!
I am itching to purchase a pair of bright pink crocs. ;D
