Okay guys, as I hammer out the last of LS2 this week I realilzed that my bio lab starts next week! Has anyone done the 1 credit bio lab before? I need 0.6 credit of science and this will fill that requirement. I didn't want to take gen eds until I finished my nursing component, but I want to be ready for NCLEX right after CPNE, and the next BIO LAB doesn't start until July! I order one edition back from the required 3rd edition book and hope that will be okay. It worked fine for the nursing classes, and I saved $80 from Barnes and Noble. Now....Ethics, World Religion or Analyzing & Interp from Dantes?!!!!
I am really wishing I would just start to see that finish line....

Loops girlfriend I am telling you, A&I Lit is the way to go. You don't have to prepare for it.. you can't study actually.. it's reading comprehension. Easiest 6 credits I ever got. :-)
I did a quick search for the class, and I couldn't find out how to actually get the exam, only where I would take it. I need to call the college where I take it? I am getting so anxious to be DONE.
What I did was I checked on college board.com for colleges that administer CLEP to people who aren't students there. I called the college and asked for the testing center and scheduled. I paid a $77 check to CLEP and a $25 check to Palm Beach State College for a proctor fee.... I dunno if all colleges have a proctor fee though.
Thank you Beachie for all of your help!! Okay, I researched the EPN and found CLEP & Dantes Board with post with 34 threads on Analyzing & Intrep LIt! Totally the way to go! I remember reading that people got their book from Amazon....R___? As I finish these last couple of exams, it really seems like things start to get more expensive so if I can save $$ with a CLEP exam, that would be great. The Ethics in America seemed tough for students, with a few of them failing according to the EPN.
REA does make a book for A&I Lit I think, I didn't use it but some people said it was helpful for them. I just googled a little bit of literary terms a few days before I tested... similies, metaphors, alliterations, first person omnicient, stuff like that... alot of old English Lit on my test. You will do fine! :-)
Found the REA book & CD on amazon, and have it on my wish list Premature for me to buy it now I guess! I was hoping to have a test date for CPNE by July but after reading on the LS3 board and some of the recent threads, it looks like it could be a 4 month wait and I still have a couple of exams to finish I just threw up a thread on the EC page on facebook for midwestern CPNE wait times, we shall see if I get any responses. Joanne said Texas was 3-4 months and other MPAC were 5 months. That would put me near Oct!
