When an RN's shift starts at 7am, and she takes a break at 7:30. What the heck do you need a break from?!

1. coworkers who don't wash their hands
2. People who sit around at the nursing desk all shift and still expect to get a paycheck every month... Really if thats all your going to do could you work from home so their are more open seats for those of us who DO work???

Same people who come in everyday with their crappy attitudes and complain about working in my unit...moan groan....gripe gripe....One day I had it (after 6 hours of it and 6 more to get to the end of my shift) I told her that she should go talk to the nurse recruiter and check out other options if she was that miserable otherwise-HUSH!

People who think I am too young to know what I am doing. I MEAN COME ON I TOOK BOARDS! I PASSED NURSING SCHOOL! Obviously I have to have some inkling on what I am doing or else I wouldn't be working!
i can relate!! I had the same problem for quite some time after I got out of school! Not now though...LOL
