This is my very first post! I am 42 years young and would like to be a nurse when I grow up. Before I can take Anatomy and Physiology at our local community college, I need either BI 55 "Preparation for Allied Health" which is a once a week class, no credit value, and costs about $350, or BI 101 "General Biology" which is a 4 credit class, has a lecture and a lab (so would have class twice a week), and costs $450. Because of time and money, I would like to take the BI 55, unless BI 101 will give me a better chance of doing well in A & P and later Microbiology. Any thoughts on if BI 101 is worth it? My plan is to take one prerequisite per semester.
