Best schedule for moms?

For those of you with kids, what do you think is the best schedule for moms who are nurses? When I graduate from nursing school, my sons will be 6 and 3 1/2 years old, so I am already thinking of how to effectively combine full-time nursing and motherhood! :)

I am mom to a seven year old. I am not sure what the best schedule is. I am trying to make a 3-11 position work and so far since it is summer, it isn't so bad. I get home around 1130 on a good night. I get to bed around 1230 and get up again at 700 so I can work out, clean house, run errands and then spend quality time with my son before I go to work.

I do 3 12hr nights a week.... and I have 4 kids!

I have 2 kids and would love to hear some responses too. I work 3 12's a week, 7A-7P, and have to work every other weekend. I love having 4 days a week off but working weekends really sucks. I'd love to find a 7-3, M-F job, and although I love where I am, I am always tempted to look elsewhere for a better schedule.
