Hi Prasin! I always read everybody's post but I frequently reply 'coz I still don't have any good news. I'm waiting for so long for my visa and I'm getting depress waiting.I called the embassy and they told me to just wait of the advise from embassy. One of my friend told me that their attorney told them that visa issuance will still be base to priority date. Is that true? Do you have any idea if somebody here got their visa? or those with 2003 priority date? hope to hear good news. please pray for all of us.

Just got an email message from NVC that I am scheduled for interview on August 29, 2005! 630 am!Hi dhel28. Congratulations to you and to all other scheduled for interview in Manila.! I might be late to greet you but I believe will not be the last. Please share your near future medical and interview experiences. Are you required to have your own copies of the authenticated documents and police clearance to present on your Consulate Interview? Goodluck.

Thanks and will surely post my experience.
Yes, all original and authenticated documents are required. I think NBI clearance is required in the philippines, police clearance will be required if you leave outside the philippines for more than 6 months. Dependents who are not more than 14 years old does not require an NBI clearance.

I guess that's not many cases like yours in the U.S. embassy here, so the progress is much more slower. I'm in the stage of packet 3 application. If nothing we can do to facilitate the procedure, I think you just grap this waiting period to be relaxed and finally you will get your visa.
And Chinese government doesn't have any restriction on it. It's all up to U.S embassy to controll the progress.
wish you the best
Things are quite different here in China. Chinese nurses need to wait another 5 months for the interview after they are document qualified. Most of us had been waiting for more than 10 months before the retrogression and patiently waiting for another 6 months during the retrogression and now another 5 months again. We don't know what will happen to us after this. Can we finally arrive there I now wonder.Does anyone here have any sugguestions about our situation? What should we do now? Is there anything we can do to facilitate this process?
I cross my fingers praying everyday for the mercy of GOD. I beg God give us the same luck as he gives to you! Really admire you guys!
Hi! My embassy interview is on Aug. 8 :balloons: I need to have my medical exam anytime next week. This question is for those that already had their medical exam here in the Philippines. I just would like to ask if the $95 is inclusive of the vaccine fees? I just want to know so I'll be prepared. thanks :)

The Chinese government is the one that has to issue the exit visa, so they are involved. The US issues you a visa for admission to the
US, but China requires you to have one to exit. And that is where the hold up has always been in the past.
If they have changed, then it has been very recent.

I think you will receive it in the given time frame. But if you think you need to have your medical already, you can get a duplicate copy. What I understand is you cannot have your medical if you dont have the appointment letter.
Good luck!

There is absolutely nothing that you can do in China. The problem isn't with the US Embassy but with getting exit visas from the Chinese government. Remember that uyou sre living still under a very restricted government. I would not try to rock the boat in anyway or you may find yourself not leaving.
