Just got an email message from NVC that I am scheduled for interview on August 29, 2005! 630 am!Prasin, Kid, and others thank you for your prayers!
Suzanne, Dale, precy, rosario, and others in this forum, thanks a lot!
Rosarrio, this is what I am referring to, that NVC sends out interview schedules ahead of the appointment letters, suggest everyone sends an email inquiry to NVC!
Shaider, i've been trying to call you, I hope you will be included in the schedule also!
I know that I have not received the visa yet, but this is a good start!
For god be all the glory!
I
congratulations, dhel! how i wish i can already say the same, that i am scheduled for an interview at the US embassy of manila......
anyways, i would like to ask how i can make an inquiry to the NVC regarding the status of my application...what's their e-mail address and how should i address them in such a way that they will easily answer my concerns.... i believe there is this format in sending an e-mail so they can elicit at once the details of my query...thank u very much and hope to hear from u soon...again, i'm happy for u and looking forward to your sharing of experience after your august 29 interview...God bless and good luck.... :balloons: :balloons: :Melody: :Melody:

Thanks!
I suggest that you be specific on your question. Just don't ask for an update, ask them if you will be scheduled on August or September.
I hope everything will turn out fine, now I am focusing on earning money to pay for the medical ($95 each), vaccination, etc. etc. And for those of you who only paid $335.00 on the visa fees, you need to pay an additional $45.00 becasue of the fee increase on the day of the interview.
Also, if you receive an interview schedule (appoinment letter) from the US embassy, it means your scheduled for a preliminary interview. If you receive a packet 4 or a schedule from NVC, it means thats your "final" interview.
Hi dhel,Will they reply promptly?. How is the responce over email? What would u suggest as best.. calling or email???
I suggest you email them. What's ironic is, if they reply 1-2 days, there's no update in your case. But if 3-4 days there might be an update in your case. These are based on my experience, maybe circumstantial but may have logic behind these.
Thanks KidI am praying for all of u too.
Well I had a doubt to be cleared.
Do you have ur original I 140 Approval with u??
IS that needed for ur consular interview? Or the copy will do?
Please let me know this.
Bye:)
THEY have our files the originals are bound to be with them. i dont think u need bother ebout that. bye kid

Please, please listen to us and not your agency if you truly want to work in the US. You may be barred from ever doing so if you listen to them. :)
