on june 6 dos ammended their june visabulletin by adding a new category for nurses (schedule - a) and making it as 'current'. that means, all wait is over for nurses now and gates are re-opened officially on june 6th.

as the regular readers of allnurses.com know, this thread can be connsidered as the continuation of the thread "worst news for rns from india, phili..." (click here to view that thread : https://allnurses.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87149). worst news thread was started when darkness and gloom hit intl. nurse community when dos announced (dec 11 2004) the retrogression for nurse immigration from these 3 countries.
Just got an email message from NVC that I am scheduled for interview on August 29, 2005! 630 am!

Rosarrio, this is what I am referring to, that NVC sends out interview schedules ahead of the appointment letters, suggest everyone sends an email inquiry to NVC!

Please keep us posted about the other nurses scheduled for interview this August; PD, letter of appointment, medical etc.
nice toknow that somebody with pd as late as nov 2004 has been scheduled ,could u share the details ,my pd is august 2004 from DELHI ,bye
My friend's PD is November 2004 but her agency worked fast and paid all the bills right away. Her case was completed by NVC last May 16, 2005. I do not know other in-between details of her case. I guess you'll be scheduled soon!

My case was transfered to the new delhi embassy sometime in march 2005 ,lets hope for the best .there is no option but to wait patiently keep in touch, nice to know that cases as late as nov 2004 have been scheduled bye and good luck sunni
