Anybody know about the EX category which the June bulletin say... where Schedule A workers fall under.R we going to get a new appointment schedule number with strating of "EX"
Right now my number is MDR2004XXXXXX.

According to my "FRIEND"
Though the retrogression for Schedule A was lifted. Three agencies are now facing huge conflicts on how they would sort cases out. Normally nurses are under the EB3. Now when the USCIS forwards the NOTICE OF APPROVAL >>>There is no statement there or designation that the applicant is under Schedule A or a nurse/pt to be considered as EX category. Check your "Notice of Approval"
So the three agencies (USCIS, Department of State Visa Office and NVC) are searching for a way to easily determine Schedule A workers. This is the reason for the delay. The NVC knows the definition of Schedule A but the problem is that thousand of cases are in the NVC and they do not know how to sort things out.
One possible option is to use the Labor Certification Exemption in the ETA-750 forms from the USCIS files because that can be the only proof that the nurse quailfies for Schedule A... Another option would be applying and proving again that you are under Schedule A by submitting proof to NVC that you qualify for Schedule A. Otherwise they have no way of determing it as of the present time...THIS IS THE REASON FOR THE DELAY>>>Failure to sort out cases...
Try calling NVC and give them a particular case number and ask them if the case is under Schedule A...
As i told you all before...don't be hot...don't be excited...coz sometimes SH** happens...

Based on other forum, post, my agency and NVC, it seems that NVC is the one who are determining the interview schedule. Unlike before where NVC will just forward current and approved cases for consular processing and the embassies will be the one to schedule the interview. But according to NVC and validated by other E3/schedule A cases actual experience, the files are kept with NVC until they can schedule an interview and THEN they will forward to the embassy. Different process now huh???
That explains the 2 day "interview dates" where the first day is presentation of documents and the 2nd day will be for the interview. And it also explains why some are receiving appointment letters ahead of Packet 4.
Strange but its happening.

Is this really true? that the NVC now requires the submission of Visa Screen certificate when you submit the DS230 form? Since the backlog the NVC is having a hard time determining schedule A cases so they can only trace with the Visa SCreen certificate as proof? If this is so then those of us who are affected by the backlog will surely look toward to a much more dreadful wait. And those cases who just recently been submitted will be smoothly processed because they have complete requirements and so "documentarily qualified". Oh dear.... now we really have to wait until the NVC look into our papers and see we dont have VS certificate submitted and us to be notified and of course delay delay.......What can we do about this?
