on june 6 dos ammended their june visabulletin by adding a new category for nurses (schedule - a) and making it as 'current'. that means, all wait is over for nurses now and gates are re-opened officially on june 6th.

Hello to All!! My friend also received a letter about preliminary appointment, her agency said the embassy would like to check the completeness of required documents need for submission such as NBI,birth and marriage cert etc. She was not given advice to bring along with her her dependents. Interview will soon follow after checking the completeness of her documents. Oh by the way her priority date is June 2003, her documents was sent out to Manila last June 1, 2005 according to automated voice reply of the NVC telephone.
Any appointment letter received by nurses or PT's with PD 2004?

"There are 150,000 recaptured visa numbers (not including this years' quota). Of those 150K, 50,000 are exempted only for nurses, of the remaining 100K, they go to all occupations including nurses (not including this year's quota). Where did your lawyers get the 150k visas that were recaptured? Ofcourse this year's quota is not inlcuded because it is already depleted as we can see the July Visa Bulletin.
If assuming the 100k that were left will go to all occupations, why is the EB3 "UNAVAILABLE"...The Iraqi bill does not mention about the 100k going to other workers. I know that you are reading other forums Dhel so I am sure that you know what is happening...
Just be sure to fly to U.S. asap! I don't trust your lawyers, they might mess things up on you.

Actually last month it so happened that on 25th of June they had updated the interview schedule for June which thay had first put up on 13th.
So I guess may be within a couple of days may be the updated schedule comes up with EX/E3
Now it so happened my attorney wrote a mail to US embassy Mumbai & they promised her that the interview will be held in the very near future.
So may be an update a few days from now will solve our problems.

Just to share with you, US Embassy Manila is currently updating their automatic voice answering system to reflect the changes in the priority date. Yesterday it was still June 2002 for EB3, but if you call now the priority date information portion was cut off. No available info on PD! maybe, just maybe, if we check later on the new schedules will be reflected.
Give them some more time, we waited for many months and for others, years. I think we can wait for a little more.

hi dale can u make out whats going on some positives are 1,a few companiies have started getting nursing board applications filled up.2delhi still awaited,3 if u can have a supll to a visa bull u can to have one for appointments 4,it is not mandatory that appointment schedule only by 15 ,5 last month also they did it that is rescheduled it 6,they must be getting their act together gOOD LUCK TO ALL

[dates for chennai are 1,5.7.8,11,12,14.15,18,19,21,22,25,26,28(15 days out of 22 possible working days ) assuming that they have a 5 day week (so 7 days may be alloted to nurses with extra staff as an add on )SEE THE GLASS AS HALF FULL good luck
