Does anyone work in the ICU at St.Joseph's hospital? I am wanting to relocate to Bellingham on a temporary basis and want to get an idea if the ICU is busy enough to keep me employed on a per diem basis. Thanks for any replies.

I think you could contact the recruiter on the peacehealth website and inquire... if nobody here can help you out. I don't know, sorry. On call nurses usually get as much (up to full time) or as little as they want, expecially if you're willing to float.

I don't work on ICU, but if you are willing to float, you should be able to stay plenty busy. I get calls from staffing almost EVERY night and Im brand new!!

What is the salary range for a nurse manager at St Joseph's?
The hospital website is www.peacehealth.org and Bellingham is Whatcom County location. Currently there is a posting for nurse manager and the range is $30.08-$45.12 hourly.

I have worked at St Joseph hospital for almost 2 years and absolutely love it! I don't work in ICU, but was a float nurse and recently accepted a position on a floor. I would just apply for anything. I love the area here and the staff that I work with.
