I'm an R.N. as well as an Medical Technician residing in the San Diego area. I'm thinking of breaking into the Paramedical Insurance Examiner field since I don't have that much time to spare with a 3 year old to take care of. Any thoughts on this for those of you out there that have worked as Paramedicals for insurance companies? I know you can do it part-time , but was wondering if it will be worth it financially since I would be considered a "contract worker" and would have to pay quartly taxes and pay for some of my equipment upfront. Hope for some advice.

Hello! This is very late response but I was curious to whether you did the job as a medical technician. I'm a new grad needing some extra money in the interim of finding a job.
