Just wondering how clinical nurses get to where they are? By qualification or experience or both? If experience, how many years would you need?

:wink2: Well, you will need to have experience in the field. You can access your CNC or Nursing Director to talk about this. Then of course, you read the position description, research the position, (eg speak to other CNs, get info) address the selection criteria and apply. Your education dept may have resources to help you do this. Qualification is good but you need to have consolidated what you have learnt. A number of CNs I know, have the basic nursing qualification and experience.:wink2:
