BADNAP Spring 2022 (OCCC)

Hello! I am starting a thread to connect with my fellow applicants to the Spring 2022 BADNAP cohort at Oklahoma City Community College. I have submitted my application but I am finishing up my last prerequisite so I will be in the second tier of applicants. Looking forward to talking to everyone. Good luck!

I’m first tier. GPA 3.07 and TEAS 87. I applied for fall and got waitlisted due to finishing up prerequisites still, so hoping I get in this time!

I was 41.  Not great at all ? but I was still completing both anatomy and physiology and also nutrition at the time the application was due.

One more question if you don't mind.....how long after the application deadline did you find out about your waitlist status?

How many points did you all have when applying??? I am obsessing over the points. I had 16. I didn’t get in last time with 14 and I am praying that I make it this time. Wish you all the best of luck as well.

Hi! My understanding is the points system only applies for the traditional and career ladder programs and not BADNAP so I did not keep track of points for my application.

Yeah, no points system for BADNAP...  just ranked by GPA in first tier (all prereq's done) and then second tier...  I also applied last Summer/fall, and didn't have my last pre-req, so was #15 on alternate list and didn't get in.  It was right on the 6-week mark when I got that notifiction.   This time, I am tier 1, and 3.87 GPA, so pretty confident, but trying to figure out the money now...

Hi everyone! I’m glad to have found this forum. With today being the 4 week mark I decided to follow up with admissions regarding application status and was told it might be a couple more weeks before we hear something. So I’m anticipating closer to the 6 week mark.

So now I am very confused and disappointed.  Just got my notification, and even though I should be Tier 1 and have a 3.8 GPA, I am alternate #17!?  ?
