Bad Economy Has Reduced Classes Offered At My School!

Published

Today I went to register for pre-req classes for Summer and Fall and has SUCH a hard time finding open classes. My school has unfortunately had to cut many classes because funding is low this year (I'm in CA). Also, I'm not priority since I'm a part-time student. I immediately tried to sign up for nursing courses, but they are completely filled (with ridiculous waitlists)!! :uhoh3:

I had hoped to apply to nursing programs this Fall, but might not be ready now. I hear nursing programs will give conditional acceptances if you complete certain courses by the time you start the program. I'm just nervous that I won't be able to fulfill these requirements.

Should I wait until next year to apply to nursing programs so I'll more likely have finished A&P II, O.Chem and any nursing courses or should I apply to nursing schools without completing the requirements and just HOPE to get into the classes next Spring? Any advice would be great
