Babies, DNP... decisions decisions....

Hello everyone,

Looking for some advice regarding having kids and pursuing higher education. Did you have kids before you pursued a DNP, or did you wait until your kids were older (> 5 y.o)? Would you have changed your decision if you could?

Any advice, pros + cons and insight is greatly appreciated! :cat:

I am currently in a PhD program and I have a 20 month old. I stopped going to school when I got pregnant with her during my MSN program and I don't regret it because I had a stress free pregnancy and enjoyed it. We would like to have more but I would like to have an experience as close to the first one as possible. But on the other hand I know people who have gone through programs successfully while pregnant and did well. It's a personal choice. I just choose to enjoy my first pregnancy over school.
