AZBN RN endorsement requirement 960 hours practice within the past 5 years

Hello everyone! Recently I've passed the dreaded NCLEX RN exam and now I'm trying to endorse my license from washington state to arizona. I'm a foreign graduate nurse but I do have an experience working as a RN from the country I originated from. One of the AZBN requires 960 hours practice as a RN within the past 5 years. My question is do I qualify on this requirement? Does anybody goes through the same thing I'm going too? Do you guys successfully endorse your license using your foreign experience as a nurse abroad? Last week I personally went to AZBN office to confirm this and the first thing they asked me if I've worked as a RN here in the US within the past 5 years as a requirement of validation of practice, I said no but I told them specifically that I've worked more than the 960 hours as a RN outside the US. Their response is to send the other requirements especially the CGFNS and write on the application that I did have an experience as a RN outside US, so they could validate it. It kinda gives me some hope that I still got this, but I really want to make it sure. Because If I don't, I have to go to nursing refresher course here and the next semester starts in January 2016. And I needed some time to meet the requirements for this nursing refresher course in able for me to enroll in the next semester next year. I really want to get this done soon so I could go on and move forward. Please everyone help me resolve this dilemma.

Thank you Silverdragon102, RN . I think I'm going to pass my application for endorsement and hope they will still consider it even though I could only pray that it get endorse just in time because they have a certain time frame in which they would consider it valid if it still on the past 5 years scope. If it doesn't work out I will go to this nursing refresher course.
