I had a US job offer since 2005. I took up NCLEX , CGFNS, IELTS on those years (completed all tests by 2006), applied for visa screen and awaiting for visa number up to now (2011). Sometime within these years, the employment agency told me the employer already backed out on their offer because of the retrogression. The agency is still continuing the processing of my visa though. this year 2011, i am just about to complete my 1st and hopefully last visascreen renewal. My PD is around jun 2006.
My question: what will haPPen if i alread get that visa which i have waited for soo long, hopefully next year 2012 since the visa bulletin now is nov. 2005, but i have no employer... would i still be able to go to the US? My plan , if ever, is to personally look for that job in the US, and i have the impression it would be easier since i would already be permitted to work legally in the US. I plan to base in TX, all my relatives are there.
Whats the best thing for me to do.?

Your visa is employer based so no employer will probably mean no visa. Suggest you talk to your agency or a immigration lawyer and check

NO employer No visa. You need to be able to find another employer who will take over the visa that was filed for you initially by the employer who backed out.
