Awaiting Nursing Acceptance/Denial Letter

Published

I'm super nervous at the moment. I turned in my application for the LVN-to-RN transition this past Tuesday, and the deadline is next Tuesday. They will be letting students know if they are accepted or denied on the 11th by the end of the day. I feel like I'm driving myself crazy just waiting. 🙁

It's totally normal that you are nervous - any LVN applying to an RN program would be nervous too. I know I would be just as nervous as you are. Hang in there! Your life can totally change in only 7 days.

I hope you receive a positive reply.

WOW - May I ask if you are an LVN in California?

If so, Northern or Southern California?

Community college or private (like West Coast University)?

I've NEVER heard of such a quick turn around from application to admission.

What is LVN to RN transition? Are you in LVN school and waiting to hear if you are accepted to continue to the school's RN program?

Thank you, in advance for your reply.

Hey, whenever you feel overwhelmed with anxiety about this, try taking a several deep breaths, it just may help. BTW Best of luck!

Hi there! It is nerve wrecking because there are many applicants and only 30 are being accepted. I'm in Texas, and I'm already an LVN transitioning into RN at a different school. They're doing this quickly because they just got approved by the Board of Nursing a few weeks ago, but there were rumors of them reopening, so I got all my ducks in a row very early. I'm hoping to hear good news. From what I've seen and heard, it looks good, but the nerves still get me.

I'm in TX too, what program did you apply to?

Good luck! We all know how nerve wracking it is from the LVN program. I'll be applying at some point to a bridge program. I'm nervous & I haven't even taken my TEAS test yet.

Thank you. I'm hoping to get in. I have A's and one B in my pre-reqs and scored an 86.7% on my TEAS exam. These are going to be the longest 4 days of my life.

Those sound like great statistics, I can't imagine you won't get in.

Thank you! Good luck getting accepted into your bridge program. I know you can do it.
