Averett University, Norfolk ABSN

Hello all! 
Is anyone currently a student in Averett’s ABSN program in Norfolk,VA?  I am debating on starting this program soon and have a few questions/concerns about the program. Is it a good program and are you glad you chose that program? Do you feel like you are actually retaining the knowledge with the pace of the program? Are the clinical sites good?

Please please please do not attend the ABSN program. The ABSN is not really ran by the university. it is ran by grand canon education and orbis education. look at their reviews. they are only after money.

Current student here. This program is trash. Go anywhere but here. They can’t even keep instructors. Save yourself some regret.

I graduated this program in December 22 and passed my NCLEX the first time. The program had some kinks as a newer program, but has gotten a lot better. The first cohort to graduate had a 100% pass rate. The second cohort is doing well as well. What will happen with the new NCLEX exam...who knows how that will impact pass rates, but right now I felt the program helped me achieve my goal of becoming a nurse and was worth the time and money investment.

I was wondering how often the clinical rotations are for Averett? How much are you on your feet all day?
