Hi Everyone!
I did not see a thread for applicants for spring 2019! I know its a bit early but since the deadline is in July I figured I would start a thread so we could talk about acceptance, application stats, etc. I'm planning on applying once I take my HESI. I hope to get in but I'm so worried!
How are ya'll feeling?

Hi! So I'm not sure when I will be applying but I should be done with all of my prerequisites by the end of fall 2018! So hopefully I can apply in the spring! I'm already extremely nervous
I understand, I'm a nervous wreck too! I should be done with my prerequisites by this summer so i will be able to make the july deadline.
I would be sure to meet with your advisor so you know when exactly to apply!

Hi all, I just finished my application and sent it in via online. I'm so nervous because they just updated the "application status" page to say spring 2019 calss
Oh wow I didn't see they updated their page so I'm glad you said that! Ah, it's starting to get so real!
I completed my application earlier this week. I'm so nervous too!

YAY! finally found you guys! I am taking the HESI on Friday so have not turned in my application yet. Do we have to turn into the campus that we want to attend and choose one OR the other? I wasn't clear on how that works. I would go to whichever will have me so not sure what people are doing for that.
Thanks for making this thread!
Hey!! So I got an email from them saying that I didn't have to bring my application anywhere, it told me they were testing out a new system where you apply online. So it took me to this link where I had to upload a combined pdf of my application, transcripts, HESI scores, and showing that I had green check marks on castlebranch.
okay great!. I have that email but had not looked at all of the details yet. So I guess before on blogs people were picking a preference of each campus it was because they took to that campus? and now they will just assign us? Either way I guess I don't have to worry about that part yet. Thanks!
Anyone heard whether it's better to take the 8 or 10 week course for the Nursing skills course 1105? I noticed the 8 week actually has more class time because it is twice a week instead of one day and almost as long? which boggled me a bit. I haven't found much useful info on google Thx!
I haven't heard which is better. But I signed up for the 10 week course every Thursday. I just feel like an 8 week course might go to fast for me.

I just finished up my pre-reqs. I'm not really sure where I stand as far as ranking. If I calculated right then I have a 38. I was reading somewhere that a previous semester had a cutoff of 35. I also did got a petition for nursing skills, and I decided to do the 8 week at EVC. Good luck!
so i haven't gotten a petition email just yet, i did have to email back and forth with them about my grade but i got it fixed and now they're able to evaluate my application. how long did it take for y'all to get the email about the petition?
