Ok now I am just going crazy!!!! Can everyone please tell me if they passed or failed when the screen came up at 75 questions. If I failed before 75 questions, I will consider myself the BIGGEST screw up in the world!

Mine shut off at 75, and I was sooo worried. all my friends said they felt like they failed at 75, but i went home and looked up questions to see how I answered and I got so many wrong i was sure i couldnt have passed at 75, and I did so i guess what im trying to say is feel positive try not to freak out it will only be 3 days untill you find out your results and then you can tell others what i just told you -to not be afraid of the shut off at 75. :)

People pass and fail after all numbers of questions (from 75 to 265 for RN), but remember that the great majority of people pass the NCLEX, so the odds are in your favor.

I took the exam last Thursday 6/22 and I'm still waiting for the result. I know how you are feeling coz mine shut off at 75 too. I want to be positive about it but a part of me says otherwise. I guess we just have to wait and continue having this queasy feeling of anticipation until we get the final verdict.

I took the NCLEX on 19 June- had 75 questions and passed! All of my friends who have taken it thus far have had 75 questions or slightly more and have passed. Think positively!!

I have never heard of ANYONE that failed at 75. Have any of you ever heard of ANYONE that failed at 75??
They probably would not have made it through nursing school exams.

pass - 75
try to stay calm (easier said then done). i know exactly how you feel. trust me, but even if the next hundred replies tell you they failed at 75,..that doesn't mean you did. the nclex is computer adaptive, my 75 is not your 75, my area of strengths are not your areas. you have done all you can do up until this point. take some much needed you time, and think positive.
sending you good wishes....

Yes, you can not pass with 75, and there are actully some on this Bulletin Board, just do a search.
The number of questions has absolutely no bearing on whether or not that you pass.
You can pass just as easily with 265, and quite a few do that as well.
I PASSED!!!!! I DID IT! Thanx to all of u for making me feel better in my time of need! :balloons:
Good job!

Thanks for sharing, I didn't know. I had never heard of anyone failing with 75. So sorry if I offended anyone. I take the NCLEX on July 12 and am sooo nervous, so I will have to come back and post if I fail with 75!
