ATRIUM New Grad Residency Spring 2021

Hello everyone! 

I submitted my application to Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC at the beginning of its opening. And I just wanted to create this topic for those of us who are anxiously waiting to hear a response ?. And also for us future colleagues to get to know one another as well! 

If anyone knows the time it takes to get a call or the process in its entirety please feel free to comment ?

I've accepted a new grad position with Atrium. They are actively interviewing. My hiring manager stated the applications went out last week. Good luck!

I didn't get a chance to apply to Atrium, but I did apply to Novant Residency and my application is under considerations. My interview is March 1. So happy!

Has anyone had an interview for Peds or NICU at Atrium? I have had interviews with other units, but I have not heard from these units yet. These are my top choices, but I would like to know if these spots are already taken and if I should consider other floors.

yeah I also asked for peds and I keep getting med surg interviews

@NurseMotivator I haven’t heard anything from atrium ... do you work there or do clinical rotations at atrium. I’m an external applicant so I’m just asking ?

I don't work there, but I do go to one of their affiliated schools. I think they usually try to look at those applicants first. Don't quote me on this, but I don't think they hire new grads in the NICU, but they do in peds. I could be incorrect, though.
