ATI testing cost per semester

Published

Hi! I just got an email from our office administrator at school. We are required to pay 353.00 PER SEMESTER for their testing stuff. Is this normal/average?!?! It seems really high to me, but I don't know.... We were just informed and our orientation is January 5 & 6. Does anyone have experience with this?!?

We use this at our LPN school. Should be only a flat fee per year; at least that is what we were told. You may want to check your receipt for school.

Thanks! Ours is 353.00 a semester supposedly. I even called the company to double check! That is out of pocket! I am doing a BSN, I wonder if the type of program makes any difference....I guess I'll have to pay, but sheesh!!! Kelli

I'm in a BSN program too. I pay $82/semester, but I also had to pay $107 during the summer term. So I guess I am paying $270 this year - maybe you have access to some materials that I don't and that's the cost difference (?).

The ATI books are pretty helpful, though, because they give concise info that is easy to reference by topic. I have used them to study for exams from time to time.

We are doing an ATI exam instead of HESI, and it's right around the corner...Oct 10. Does anybody else have that?

We do ATI for our BSN, but it's factored into the cost of nursing tuition, (which at our school costs more per credit than any other classes ), so I'm not sure what it costs. We take a few ATI's every semester, depending on what we are studying. We just did the comprehensive NCLEX predictor one (I got a 99% chance of passing, yay!). The books have been helpful for studying for classes and tests outside of the ATI too.

Wow........we don't have to pay for ATI tests. We take a couple per class/semester.

We use ATI at my school too (ASN) and it is factored into the cost of the program, I think that I pay around $50-75 per term.

I think thats average..I remember paying almost 400 dollars 1st semester for there stuff. That includes the cds, review books, and the test at the end of the semester. 2nd & 3rd semester it was lower, probably around $200

Ours was $110 for the first semester.

Soon2bnurse3,

You probably do pay for it, but they just factor it into the program cost so you don't see it as a seperate expense.
