Hello,
Has anybody ever used the ATI Live Nclex Review before? My school is now offering us the classes for 3 days. I thought it might be worth it but I was for sure. I looked the cost and it is about $350 to attend these classes. Should I not attend ..was it worth the time? It's free from the school .

If it's free for school go, I just took it, it is basically nursing school crammed in 3 days. Lots of people in our class did not like it felt it was rushed and confusing because not a lot of time is spent on the topics, the instructor assume you know everything she or he is talking about and move through the content quickly, you do however receive a book with the content in it sort of like the material you receive through school if your school uses ATI with the content in basic form. I like the book, and you will get a break down of content you should study before taking the exam based on your Comp Predictors that your school should have you take. You will also be given access to codes that open up more questions for focused reviews that you can take twice before it becomes not available. Hope this helps. Good Luck I take boards Monday but I also used Kaplan, which has lots and lots of study questions. :)
Thank you...that was what I thought. I will go because it is free but I already know it will be a lot of stuff from ATI. I am also using Hurst review which I like...I like the visual stuff . My school needs their graduation rate to go up, there was a lot of students who failed the first time . Now my goal is to pass this test....
Good Luck, I'm taking my test Monday, claiming success!!!!! :)

I just took the ATI Live Review this past April and I felt it helped critique and answer the questions better. I think it might depend on the instructor that teaches the class. My whole class loved this review and we all felt like we learned more in those 3 days than the whole time we were in nursing school.
Great to know...I just didn't want to seat on stuff that wasn't going to help me out. For me when I did the Kaplan review it was long and I had a hard time forcing on topic at hand. I failed the nclex-pn in March of this year. I need to understand what they are asking..a lot of time in nclex they add stuff in the question that is nothing about the subject. I hated ATI when I was in school they give us books but never showed us how to study? Now they are trying to get it right after several people failed the nclex test.
Same with my school. This past semester is the second semester they've used ATI Live Review. The first time they used it, a lot more students have passed the NCLEX exam on the first try and commented that they should've used this years ago with the previous classes that have passed.

My school made this mandatory; but I don't think I learned ANYTHING from it. Overall it was mostly a bunch of games/book activities/acting out scenarios. We were all just so happy school was over that no one took it seriously anyways. For me it was a waste of time, but I did learn a lot from the ATI nclex review assessments
