ATI Comprehensive Exam 2010

Hello All,

I have to take the ATI comprehensive exam in a little less than a month. We have to make at least a 94% on it to pass. We have 2 chances to pass it and if we don't on the 2nd time then we don't get to graduate in May. I've always done well on the ATI exams since we have to take them every semester in order to pass the class, but I'm nervous about this one because it's over EVERYTHING. I wanted to get some pointers or tips as to how you all studied for this exam. I have practice codes for every subject and I plan on doing all of those and looking over the things that I get wrong, but I wanted some additional tips. What is mostly covered on this test? Also, does anybody know what a 94% equates to?? On the practice exam it gives a percentage but it's not the predicted score that we use to see if we passed or not. Thanks in advance for your help.

Did your school give you practice codes for the comprehensive exam? We got two different ones, and I found them super helpful.

If you can, do the comprehensive exam review. Then when ATI spits out the report on how you did, look at your weak areas, and then review, review, review. There is so much material that it is impossible to study everything.

Yes, they did give us practice codes and I plan on doing those to see how I do.

Honestly, as much as I hate to say it - read that ATI book that corresponds with the comprehensive test. It really does help. I hated ATI testing but read that book, it will help you.

Here is the table given at the end of the 2010 RN predictor. On the left is the percentage of questions correct and the right is the probability that ATI thinks you'll pass the NCLEX on the first try. Good luck!
