I was wondering if anyone out there is going to the application sessions in February? It would be nice to find people in the same boat as me :)

I am applying February 3 at GCC! Would you happen to know if NAU will give you the "points" if you are in the process of obtaining your agec-a (AA)? I applied for graduation for May 2015 but I am finishing the last class right now for Spring 2015. I spoke to an advisor and was told it should say at the bottom of my unofficial transcript. It does not though...
@sparks87 I am not exactly sure about the AGEC courses. I know that the co-reqs have to be completed before you apply but those are mandatory and the AGEC isn't. Wish I could be more help :) Are you applying for NAU? I'm so anxious to apply already haha.

I am applying for the NAU CEP!! I will be going to the session on the 4th. :) I'm so excited. I can't believe I am actually at this point. I feel like it's been in progress forever and now I am finally here!
Also, for Sparks87- if you look at the updated CEP NAU guideline on the nursing website I think it says that you have to have all of the Maricopa nursing pre/co reqs completed, but you can have up to 7 NAU pre reqs left to complete and still be able to apply. As long as you have them completed and grades are posted by June this year. :) So as long as the class you are taking is for the NAU requirements then I think you should be ok. I would double check with the advisor before you go to the session just to make sure.
Sorry everyone I was misunderstanding what my agec was vs my AA. I have my agec. I am finishing my last course right now for my AA and to graduate this May. I have heard there is a larger number of applicants this year than ever before! Aaah. Good luck to everyone. Sounds like many people are applying to the NAU/GCC cep.
Good luck to all of you guys :) I'm going on the 4th and applying to the ASU CEP. Hopefully we'll be able to find out pretty soon after. From previous threads, it sounds like they heard within two weeks! It's sounding like it might be pretty competitive this go around!

Hi there! I am going to the application session tomorrow! My first choice is NAU but would be open to going where I am accepted. It's strange, I read on another thread a month ago that there were LESS applicants this go around but reading here you are all saying it's the opposite. Yikes, makes me nervous. I have a previous B.S. degree and an M.Ed, good HESI score, but lower end GPA (I still meet the requirement minimum though) due to a few low grades back when I was 19 that they count... sigh. Crossing my fingers that they take everything into account and it will offset my GPA a bit! GOOD LUCK everyone! :)
Congrats! I hope we all get in this round. I feel like I have been going to school forever! At one of the info sessions they said there were so many applicants that they had to manually open spaces for the app sessions. I am applying for the NAU cep also. Although I am still unsure of what cohort to choose. Honestly I want to choose whichever will get me in. I can work with any of the schedules. I just can't wait to get the application over with and have that off my shoulders. What time are you all going? I am going to be there for 9 am. Hoping it can go fast and I won't be there the entire morning! Good luck everyone!

Hi all. Went to the application session today. Was so nervous! I waited for about 3 hours to see the NAU advisor! Decisions will be made by feb 20th. Good luck to all. What colleges/cohorts did you all apply to /hope to get?
I went to the application session today and applied for ASU. My first choice was Chandler-Gilbert but I'll be happy with any of them. The ASU advisor was pretty confident that I will get in so that's exciting! Good luck everyone! Hope these two weeks of waiting go by fast :)
I waited for about 2 hours to get through the entire process. I put gateway evenings as my first cohort! I'm so excited!! I can't wait until feb 20th to find out! Good luck all!
I would be happy to get in to any as well but evenings would work best with my current work schedule. However they are flexible with school schedule.
