Hello everyone!
This is my first post on this board, but I was reading it for a while and found it to be amazing source of info! I am new to the St. Petersburg FL area, moved here recently from PA, applied for the St. Petersburg College nursing program and got accepted for January 2011! I am very excited, but nervous at the same time...Just wondering if anyone is on the same boat with me? Would love to hear!:)

Hi!
I got accepted for August 2011 at St Petersburg College too. Any advice? I'm so excited and nervous because of all the things I've been hearing about nursing at SPC. Orientation day is on June 30th. Are they going to give test on that day. Was the test easy? Hope you can give me some pointers It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
Hello! Congrats on your acceptance! So far I am in my second semester (med-surg./OB) right now. I have chosen the night program and we go straight through and graduate in May 2012. The material itself is not difficult, there is just a lot of it. Especially in summer! I am just making sure to be on top of everything, especially reading. To prepare for tests I use a lot of NCLEX style questions and so far it's helping... As far as I remember, they did not give the test during orientation, we had to schedule it separately. It was ATI TEAS test, multiple choice questions.
Congratulations again and good luck!!!!!
Thank you so much and good luck as well. May 2012 is not far away its just around the corner and before you know it your already an RN.
